Welcome to TEIA Boating and Dock!

For the 2010 boating season we have a new person in charge of the dock and floats as well as some new procedures:

Dinghies/Kayaks
Dinghies which are tied to the dock/floats and kayaks on the beach rack will all be required to have a numbered, TEIA, identification sticker affixed to each craft. This will allow us to know if a dinghy/kayak is “legal”/paid and it helps to identify owners when these craft are found floating or beached (abandoned/stolen) in some other location. Stickers will be mailed to the address indicated on the membership form. Dinghies and kayaks without stickers will be removed.

Boat information
Boat information for each person who pays boating fees to use the TEIA dock and floats will be required for each mooring as a part of the annual new/returning membership process.  This will help us and you with respect to your craft’s security and your mooring security. A very important part of that process will be providing us with up-to-date address and phone/email information so that we can keep you apprised in a timely manner of issues regarding your craft (lost, stolen, slipped its mooring, found on the beach etc.)

Contact Information
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that owners affix their name and contact information to their dinghies (rigid or inflatable). This acts as a theft deterrent and as a quick way for good Samaritans to contact you in case your craft is found in some location other than at TEIA, or has suffered some other mishap (deflated or swamped etc.) One method for accomplishing this is to use a broad-tipped permanent marker.

Additional Information
Please contact the person below for more information and to inquire about any open spots for new moorings or moorings in our grid which might be for sale. From Nov. 15 until March 31 the quickest and most secure way to make contact is through email.
