Color of Peaks Art Show
On Friday evening, July 12th at 6:00 p.m. the Friends of TEIA will sponsor the Wine and Appetizer reception held in conjunction with the opening of the Color Of Peaks Art Show at TEIA. We need the help of Club members to make this event a success. Please bring a large platter with an appetizer to share with the community who will come to celebrate and buy art from local island artists at this much-anticipated event. Friends of TEIA provides the wine, music and some of the food needed to make this evening, enjoyed by so many each summer, a resounding hit.
On the wine table you will also find a donation jar that really needs to be filled on Friday evening. Friends of TEIA has enrolled 70 island children in TEIA's summer programs (up from 51 last summer) and offering all of these "camperships" has stretched our resources to the maximum limit. We need your help now and again in the fall with our annual appeal for next summer. All of our dollars go directly to the island children allowing them a summer of fun activities and the opportunity to learn new lifetime skills. Just come down any day of the week to TEIA and see the youth and all they are doing and the memories they are making. THEY are the future of our Club!!!!
