TEIA Fair

The FAIR is coming!  Yes, it’s time to mark your calendars, invite the grandkids and friends for Saturday August 7th, 2010.    The fair will begin at 10:00 and end at 1:30 with the usual last minute bargins starting at 1:15.     There will be the same fun activities such as gift table, raffle and bake table, childrens games and toys, Granny’s corner, clothing loft, the silent auction and the most sought after stuff on the white elephant tables.

In the evening we will have the traditional fair dinner which always gets rave culinary reviews.  It is also the best time to finalize your bids for the silent auction item(s) you crave.

Of course your help and participation is also so important to ensuring the fair (which is our bigest annual fund raiser) is a success.  So please, if you are not part of last year’s team and wish to volunteer your time and services, email me tharris33@comcast.net and let me know what you are interested in.

Also, don’t throw anything away, save it for a DONATION for the silent auction, gift table or clothing loft.  If it’s in new condition, it could wind up on the gift table.

The chairpeople (Trudy Harris, Heather Thompson and Mary Douglas) thank you in advance and look forward to a very successful 2010 TEIA Annual Fair.  See you all there.

Fair Dinner Tickets
Do not count on buying your fair dinner ticket on FAIR DAY.  This special and memorable meal is always a sellout.  Members begin reserving their tables on the night of the preceding fair dinner night so they do not find themselves without a seat.  Contact Stephanie at sealights99@aol.com or call at 2254 (after 6/3) to make your reservations.  Each table seats 10….you may reserve an entire table or individual seats.  Tickets will remain the same as last year at $15 each.
