Join us on Tuesday, July 9 at 7 pm for the first of this summer’s TEIA Lecture Series. Frederic Fahey, Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, will discuss “Medical Imaging and What You Should Know About Radiation.” Medical imaging provides your doctor with a wealth of very useful clinical information about you look like inside, and how your body is working. However, many of the approaches to medical imaging involve the use of radiation that may present a very small potential for health effects that could be harmful. This presentation will discuss the benefits and the possible risks of medical imaging and what questions patients may want to ak their doctors when these test are recommended. The Lecture Series is open to all.
