Tennis

Tennis has been an important recreational activity for TEIA members for decades. The three clay courts are some of the best in the Portland area and are available for singles and doubles open play from late May to October each year (weather dependent). TEIA offers youth and adult lessons, as well as a variety of tournaments for adult tennis members.

Tennis memberships fall into the following categories: A family seasonal tennis membership covers all family members including children up to age 23; individual adult (19+); individual junior (13-18); and individual youth (up to 12) . One- and two-week tennis memberships are available. A prerequisite for signing up for a tennis membership is a standard TEIA membership. Please visit our membership page to review all options.

Tennis Guests

All guests must pay prior to playing. Please see the club manager or any tennis committee member before using the courts. If the club manager or a tennis committee member cannot be found, call Bobby Kipp at (781) 248-5340 before playing. Guests may play as a guest up to five times per season (if you plan to play more than that, please purchase a tennis membership).  The guest fee is $20.00 per day per guest for up to 5 plays during the season.  A club tennis member must be present during play.

Family tennis memberships include players up to 23 years old. Players over 23 must have their own memberships. Visiting adults are not included in family memberships and must pay the guest fee.
